Schools can nominate for the following awards.

Teachers Mutual Banks "Teachers Environment Fund"
Future Leaders Environment Awards recognise and reward young Australians who have shown outstanding environmental leadership. They also aim to inspire others to engage in environmental issues. Schools throughout Australia may nominate Year 12 students for the Awards. The winner of the Award will receive a fully funded Fellowship to participate in an Earthwatch Expedition to Australia or New Zealand. .
Future Leaders Future Justice Awards recognises Year 12 students who have shown leadership and initiative on intergenerational equity, future justice. Future justice is concerned with what those living
today leave behind for future generations. Award winners will receive $1000..
Clean Up Australia recognise environmental heroes with two awards - Green Kids Award and Site Supervisor Award. .
World Environment Day Awards - United Nations Association of Australia recognises innovative and outstanding environmental programs and initiatives from across Australia. Nominations are invited from individuals, organisations, businesses, local councils, schools, journalists and community groups. .
The Community Litter Grants which are being administered by Keep Australia Beautiful NSW in partnership with the NSW government. Any group who completes the Local Litter Checker is then eligible to apply for a grant up to $5,000 for litter projects in targeted local areas.
Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program
Funding for the establishment of kitchen and garden infrastructure.
Coles Junior Landcare School Garden Grants
Schools and youth groups can apply for grants to create gardens in their school or community such as bush tucker gardens, waterwise gardens or vegie gardens. Open to schools, kindergartens, day care centres and youth groups (i.e scouts, out of school care). 3 rounds of funding.
NRMA Community Grants Program
Funding for environment projects. e.g. school gardens, composting systems and awareness raising and educational workshops. Open to schools and community groups
NSW Environmental Trust Eco School Grants
Funding for school environmental management projects, e.g. outdoor learning areas, bushland rehabilitation, native gardens, recycling and waste minimisation systems, water efficiency initiatives.
Teachers Environmental Fund
Funding to implement school environmental projects. eg energy and water savings initiatives, composting and recycling and outdoor and biodiversity projects. Two rounds/year.
Public schools only eligible to apply.
Gould League of NSW Scholarship
Brand new scholarship opportunity! The purpose of this scholarship is to provide teachers, tertiary
students and envrionmental educators, with financial assistance to attend the AAEE National or NSW state annual conference or equivalent professional learning activity.
Australia's Open Garden Scheme Community Grants
Funding for community garden projects. Schools may be eligible to apply if there is direct evidence of student involvement in planning.
Corporate Express Grant
he Go Green with Corporate Express Junior Landcare Grants Program. Fifteen successful schools will receive funding to support innovative projects that bring about education in environmental issues.
NSW Environmental Trust Environmental Education Grants
Be Natural Landcare Grants for local landcare groups to help with the projects which have not received funding in the last 12 months. Through the grants program, groups will also be encouraged to find
innovative ways of attracting more volunteers to their group and projects. Schools can only apply as part of a larger landcare group.
